Rental Terms

1. Riders must read and sign the Scooter Rental Policy prior to renting.

2. Helmets are provided free with rental.

3. Drivers must be 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license with them while driving.  Passengers must be at least 14 years old.

4. All Participants must wear a helmet while riding.

5. The renter is responsible for the rental equipment, from the time the equipment in rented until the time it is returned, including damage or theft of rental equipment.

6. A credit card is required for rental deposit.  Failure to return scooter cars(s) or return in rented condition will result in additional charges.

7. Rental equipment is due back at the time stated on the rental contract.  Late returns will be charged overtime charges and/or late fees.

8. Drivers must inform us if the rental equipment is damaged or not working properly.

9. Realize that this vehicle is smaller than most other vehicles on the road.  Drivers must comply with all traffic laws and drive with caution.  The renter of the scooter car is responsible for any parking tickets or traffic citations incurred during the rental period.

10. The rented scooter cars and equipment may only be used by the designated renter and the members of his/her party.

11. Early equipment returns will not receive cash or charge refunds.  Refunds due to unsafe weather conditions are at the discretion of AIVR, Inc.

What kind of deposit do I need to rent a scoot car?
A credit card is required for rental deposit.

How old do I need to be to rent a scoot car?
You must be at least 18 years of age and have in your possession a current valid drivers license..

Do you offer helmets?
Yes we do, and we require that all participants under the age of 16 wear a helmet.  Helmets are free with the rental.

What should I wear and bring with me?
We recommend that you wear seasonally appropriate clothing, not too loose, and closed-toe shoes.  Don't forget your camera.  Traveling in an open air vehicle even in hot weather will make it seem much cooler.  A sweater or light coat may be appropriate

Do I need to make a reservation? And what is your cancellation policy?
In order to guarantee availability of rental equipment it is wise to make a reservation ahead of time.  To cancel your reservation, please call us 24 hours prior to the rental start date/time.
